E-discovery operations of large law firms in the Southeast are seeing growing demand.
They're handling work not only for clients of their firm, but also litigation business from other law firms and private companies seeking help in organizing the massive amounts of digital data that have become common in big disputes now.
Atlanta-founded Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton oversees an e-discovery center, called the Lit-Smart E-Discovery Center, in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Alabama-founded Maynard Nexsen also operates an e-discovery and information management subsidiary called NEXTRA Solutions in Columbia, South Carolina.
